Connor Thomas is a 18 year old acoustic Fingerstyle guitarist who is beginning to earn a name for himself in the North East of England. He began playing Fingerstyle when he was 11, under the inspiration of Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel. Since then he has developed his self-taught unique style that sets him apart from other Fingerstyle guitarists. At such a young age, he is able to wow his audience and fill the room with presence. Connor has been described as a young ‘Tommy Emmanuel protégé’ locally and an ‘Acoustic Guitar Wizard’ – North East Guitar Show
Connor has already performed at several guitar shows and music festivals and has featured at the O2 Academy here in Newcastle. Also he’s performed to open the show for Albert Lee and has played with Ben Hughes, Anthony Snape and the one and only Tommy Emmanuel.
"Of the 'young gun' players, Connor is one to watch. Yes, he has chops to burn, but he also has dedication, and a sophistication that belies his young age" - Michael Fix
